I lucked out on this wedding. Totally lucked out. By some miracle, not one but two different vendors on this wedding separately recommended me to Jenna and her family. It was such a blessing to work alongside Jenna, her mother, and mother-in-law in planning all the details for her big day. Truly, I found it difficult to say good-bye at the end of the night.
To start, the bridal party got ready at the Sheraton on the river. Relaxed and enjoying every moment, Jenna calmly got dressed and prepared for her first look with Charlie.
These two were just adorable! I loved working with these moms!
Skyline Loft at Bridgeport Art Center hosted the ceremony and reception.
As a tribute to her late grandfather who always wore flannel, Jenna wrapped her bouquet with a piece of one of his old shirts.
I knew from our planning meeting that the industrial elevator at the venue was going to be key in greeting guests. Massive in size, it hosts a bar in the back. We were able to hang old family portraits of past weddings dating back many generations. (And, this is a good time to mention the staff, which had to run the elevator in addition to other duties, at Bridgeport was amazing!)
Check out this amazing view!
Charlie’s mom used a family wedding dress to cover a hat box, which in turn was used as a card box.
A special to these amazing vendors who made
Jenna & Charlie’s wedding day so special!
