At the jpb designs’ Chicago branch, 100% of our clients come from vendor and clients, who know they are referring one of the best Chicago wedding planners. About a year before her wedding date, Michelle called me for coordination, and I’m so glad she did! Her photographer, Peter Wynn Thompson, recommended her. Thanks, PWT!
Let’s get to it.
Photos are my jam. Check out the two below. They are beautiful – Michelle is absolutely stunning!
And, that is just the beginning. Check out al the beauty below….
The wedding party each had a suite at the Langham, which overlooks the beautiful Chicago river. While the ladies finished up hair and makeup, I helped gather Michelle’s personal items for the detail shots.
The natural light from the wedding shoes resulted in one of my favorites from that day.
She was seriously that beautiful AND that chilled out all day long. I’d like to think we contributed to her relaxed nature by putting her mind at ease long before the wedding day.
Photos. And weddings. And kids are my jam.
Michelle and Pete asked their two nephews and one little niece to walk down the aisle in the processional. Inevitably, at most weddings, these are the little guys who get cold feet. I often spend a lot of time convincing the RBs and FGs that their Nanna is sitting in the front pew waiting to see their darling faces! I wish I could remember all the conversations I have with the kids; they come up with the best lines!

While planning, we scheduled enough time in the wedding day for three photo stops. My favorite of the three ended up at the “dirty wall” in a Chicago alley. Check out how the texture.
With perfect weather for an outdoor cocktail hour, guest mingled in the Galleria Marchetti gardens while the wedding party rode the trolley after photos.
Michelle, I love this photo of us!
For those of you planning a wedding, it is during cocktail hour that the photographer captures the detail shots from the reception room. Life in Bloom provided the beautiful floral arrangements and personal flowers, as well as the chair signs and swags.
Smiling constantly, Michelle and Pete truly cherished every moment – and each other. It was an absolute pleasure to be such an integral part of their day.
The night wasn’t over until we held a sparkler exit on Erie Street.
Thank you! Thank you to these amazing vendors! And, thank you, Michelle & Pete, it was so amazing getting to know what kind, caring people you both are.
