As I sift through photos from Haley & Eric’s wedding, it feels like there are so many purposeful juxtapositions between the minimal and then something much more full. Take the getting ready details, for example. Haley has very a modern, minimalistic invitation design, yet her getting ready jammies were polka dotted and had feathers. These two were SO cool! They knew how to craft a modern wedding.
At the Fairlie with Romee Willow providing the flowers, the place also felt like a beautiful composition of simple yet complex. In the floral arrangement below that sat on a cocktail table, I think the textures, variety of colors, and heights contributed to the dimension this little arrangement provided.
I found this bouquet to be stunning. And, what a fun way to showcase it – up against Eric’s blue tux!
One of the really neat aspects of having your wedding at The Fairlie is that you can take the tuk tuk out. Haley & Eric, along with a driver, just rode down the street for a quick 15 minutes getaway. I often tell my clients to take a little time after their ceremony, since the day will fly by. It’s nice to have a few moments to yourselves!
The tuk tuk is a nice way to share something outside of that modern wedding vibe by adding the signs and cans.
Are you familiar with this modern wedding trend? The champagne tower! Love these coupes!
I definitely had vendors on this team who I hadn’t had the opportunity to work with before, and I cannot thank them enough for making this day so special for Haley & Eric! It was a beautiful, modern wedding!
